There’s the Gateway Building on Water Street in downtown Peoria.
We are now entering Ireland along the Illinois River! Okay, we’re in and let’s check out Peoria’s Irish Fest 2025!
My first stop was at O’Neill’s Pub to check out some of the live Irish music happening here today!
There’s all kinds of food trucks and different vendors to check out.
I saw some familiar faces at a table over here…
It’s my friends Tori and Dick and they were with their friend who’s name is Marty! Nice to have another Marty on the blog!
Great to see all of them, I first met Tori and Dick all the way back in 2013 when I was doing a blog on the closing of Pizza Inn on Sterling! Time flies when you’re blogging on a daily basis!

There was more Irish music happening here at The Snug!
I stopped in at Haney’s Pub and this pretty woman took my order and there’s Greg Haney serving up the beer!
Always fantastic to see Greg Haney in his namesake Pub! Cheers!
Let’s go to The Landing and see what’s happening at the CEFCU Center Stage on the riverfront!
Gadan was the band on the Main Stage and they sounded fantastic and the audience was loving the live Irish music!
Okay, time to get our Saturday Night Dinner!
I decided to get my dinner at the Grill ‘Em All food truck that’s powered by Raber Packing Company!
Becca and Karen were working the truck but I didn’t want to bug them with a photo because they were so busy, so here they are in photos outside of the fest.
That’s Becca pictured with Bella and there’s Karen back in the Chef and Baker days pictured with Ian, the Chef! It was great to see both of them!
I got the Prime Rib Sandwich and it was absolutely delicious!
The Prime Rib was cooked to perfection and was so juicy, tender and tasty and it was housed on a bakery-fresh pretzel bun!
And night falls on the Peoria Irish Fest 2025!
This was a fun evening, but as I went to make my exit, I saw this sign, “No Alcohol Beyond This Point.” Oh no, does this mean I can’t have a drink at home?
Well, I broke the rules, but don’t tell anyone!
