As we enter the 20th week of eating the entire Arby’s menu, there’s a light at the end of this beefy journey. The other week we finished up the Market Fresh menu and we’re now up to the last menu to eat our way through: The Sides menu. So we’ll start on that menu today.
Oh Puddy, I think you know what to do here!
Here we are at the Sides menu.
I’m not ordering the White Cheddar Mac ‘n Cheese because it’s a limited menu item and I”m not ordering those because if someone comes here later for reference they won’t be able to order that item.
So we’re going to start off devouring the sides by ordering the Curly Fries and Jalapaeno Bites.
There was no one at the drive-through, so I whizzed on up, ordered and was on my way back home in minutes.
I love it when that happens!
We’re back at the MBIP World Headquarters Kitchen and Tasting Area to begin week number twenty!
Twenty weeks! Kind of crazy, but no time to dwell on that now. It’s time to start the eating of the Sides menu!
Today’s total is $7.97. This next few weeks will be a little easier on the old pocketbook since they’re side items.
Okay, I don’t have a pocketbook…leave me alone!
Okay, they’re not really wrapped, they’re boxed.
Once again…leave me the fuck alone! Sheesh!
Here they are unboxed and plated. Those Jalapeno Bites look a little frightening!
First Bite
Curly Fries: These were crispy and lightly salted and seasoned and they were very tasty. We’re off to a good start so far.
Jalapeno Bites: Okay it’s time to put the breaks on this good start.
The Jalapeno Bites were not good at all! They had a sharp acid-like taste to them and they were green inside with a gooey, gross consistency to them. It was like eating a breaded booger with a thyroid condition and it about made me hurl the Curly Fries right back up.
The Verdict
The Curly Fries were crispy and tasty, I can safely recommend them!
If you like breaded thyroid boogers, then you’ll love the Jalapeno Bites. Personally, I hope to erase them from my memory banks as soon as possible!
