Okay, onto week number sixteen as we chew our way through the Market Fresh portion of Arby’s menu.
Oh, Puddy, you want to get this thing going?
This week we’re going to be sampling the Roast Turkey & Swiss Wrap and the Roast Chicken Salad. This is the first time we’re trying a salad from Arby’s, so this is pretty godamned exciting.
Okay, really it’s not, but I can dream,, can’t I?
Full disclosure: I forgot to bring my fucking camera, so these are shots from last week. It never changes anyway, so who gives a good flying fuck? Certainly not me.
Alright, here we are back at the MBIP World Headquarters Kitchen and Tasting area and today’s meal is a two bag meal, which is a first. Now that is truly exciting!
Okay, once again it’s really not, but I’m trying to get a little enthusiasm going, so give me a fucking break!
Once again, the price for this meal is a little steep for fast food, but Arby’s has proven in the past that it’s worth it, so let’s see if it happens again this week.
The wrap is covered in paper, but the salad has a pretty fancy plastic container.
Here’s the meal unwrapped, but we need to prepare the salad before we can dig in.
I took the roast chicken and bacon slices off and added the two packs of Italian dressing that came with the meal. Then for a little extra flavor I added some French dressing from the MBIP World Headquarters refrigerator. I mixed the greens with the dressing and placed the roast chicken slices and bacon back on top.
Time to dig in!
First Bites
Roast Chicken Salad: The lettuce was fresh and crispy and the salad dressings added a nice flavor. The roast chicken was juicy and the bacon added a tasty smokey crunch. This was an excellent salad!
Roast Turkey & Swiss Wrap: The Roast Turkey and Swiss wrap was delicious. What really took it over the top was the spicy honey mustard! It also had lettuce and slices of onion that complimented it well!
The Verdict
Once again, Arby’s delivers the goods!
Yeah, it’s a little pricier than most fast food, but, as they say, “You get what you pay for!” This was really an exciting post!
Okay, it really wasn’t, but humor me, we’re in the middle of a fucking pandemic here for fuck’s sake!
