We’re up to a dozen week’s sampling the menu at Arby’s and this week we’re going to be trying two more sandwiches from the chicken menu. Let’s head out and get these two clucked up sandwiches as we work our way through the entire Arby’s menu!
We’ll be sampling the Buffalo Crispy Chicken sandwich and the Buffalo Roast Chicken sandwich this week.
Once again there was no one ahead of us at the drive-through and we made it through in minutes. I love it when that happens!
Now we’re back at the MBIP World Headquarters Kitchen and Tasting Area. Time to start this twelfth week of Arby’s eating!
This week the sandwiches were over thirteen bucks. As I’ve noted before, Arby’s isn’t cheap, but if the sandwiches are good, I don’t really care.
Once again, I’m impressed with the packaging of the sandwiches. Those are sturdy boxes!
Here’s this week’s sandwiches, they are both housed in what Arby’s calls, “Star Cut Buns.” They look more like, “X Cut Buns”, but what do I know?
At first I was a little disturbed because I thought that was mayonnaise on the sandwiches, but I checked the website and it turns out it’s “Parmesan Peppercorn Ranch Sauce,” which sounds kind of intriguing.
First Bites
Buffalo Crispy Chicken Sandwich: This sandwich was really tasty and had a chicken wing flavor to it. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. In addition to the Buffalo sauce, the Peppercorn Ranch Sauce added a rich flavor to it and it was a nice mix of a rich and spicy flavor. Plus the bun was soft and bakery fresh.
Buffalo Roast Chicken Sandwich: This was pretty much the same flavor as the Buffalo Crispy Chicken Sandwich, except the chicken was juicy roasted chicken chunks. And the bun was just as fresh.
The Verdict
Both of these sandwiches were top-notch and I enjoyed them both. So far Arby’s is definitely looking to be a place where there’s some decent fast food!

What a weird ad and is it really a such a big deal that they were offering Coke? Cocaine, now that would have been something to really make it an Arby’s night!
