It’s not officially summer yet, but it certainly is going to be a strange one. For good or bad, this is going to be an historical summer and 2020 is going to be a year that we’ll all remember, probably not too fondly!

One summer I do remember fondly happened 53 years ago and that was The Summer of Love that happened in 1967 when the world was so different than today.

I talked about that summer in the second edition of The Marty Monologues and I’ve got a link to that and six online articles below.

And then of course there’s the MBIP Coming Attractions!

Monday: I went to Knuckles Pizza and got a delicious Quad City style pizza and meatballs. There’s also exciting breaking news that I’ll reveal tomorrow, stay tuned for that!

Tuesday: I’m hoping the Younger Than Yesterday wall is complete and I’ll have photos and information about this new wall/mural covering the outer wall of Peoria’s coolest record store.

Wednesday: I’m continuing the MBIP shopping local series with a stop at Relics gift shop!

Thursday: Another Marty Meal will be whipped up in the MBIP World Headquarters and Tasting Area!

Friday: I’ll be doing a wrap-up of the MBIP Eats McDonald’s series and I’ll announce which fast food place I’ll be eating next!

Saturday: We’ll feature another Sandwich of Peoria!

Okay, I have to get busy with this stuff. Have a beautiful Sunday and we’ll see  you all tomorrow!
