Ding, ding and ding! The donation bell has rung not once but twice today!

Bill Molleck sent in a generous donation of fifty dollars and I thank him for that! Bill was our special guest star last week and I’m sure he’ll be making another appearance soon!

John Freim sent in a donation of twenty dollars and this is a monthly donation that John has set up, so I thank him very much for that!

Okay, time for our weekly trip with my friend Jim/Karl behind the wheel and this week we’re traveling to Princeville. I don’t think I’ve ever been to Princeville and I think we’re hitting the only bar in that town!

So it’s off to Princeville we go!

Bar Number 205: High Voltage TaPHOUSE, Wednesday, September 3, 2026

There’s Karl behind the wheel and we’re off to the land known as Princeville. I wonder if Purple Rain is falling down there?

Here we are at High Voltage Taphouse in Princeville. There’s no Purple Rain falling from the skies, but I like that sign on the front of the building! We’ll have to get a shot of it when we leave when it’s dark out. I bet it’ll look even better then!

There’s Karl at the door, I think he was a doorman in a former life, because he handles the doors very well. It’s kind of a Jim Morrison thing!

Wow, this place is very nice and there’s a huge bar in here. There’s two empty seats down at this end, so we’ll sit down and start our evening out on the town in Princeville!

Tina was the pretty and friendly bartender on duty and she posed with Keith, who’s a regular in here for our traditional bartender photo of the evening. Great to meet both of them!

There’s the weekly, patent-pending Karl at the bar with his drink photo!

As you can see, it’s a very well-stocked bar and I love that Modelo sign back there! There’s the five beers on tap complete with a Halloween PBR handle, nice!

There’s even a pay phone back there and Tina told me that it actually works! It might be the last pay phone in this area!

I love the Ice Cold Beer mural on the back wall.

Here’s a shot of the bar from the other end of the room. This is a very large bar in here…sometimes size does matter!

They have a nice popcorn machine over here if you want a little snack with your drink.

There’s a pool table up in the front of the bar, two dart boards line one wall and gaming machines line the other wall.

Meanwhile, back at the bar…

Karl ordered up a Butch’s White Garlic Supreme Pizza and there he is enjoying it at the bar! Nothing better than Butch’s Pizza at the bar!

There’s that nighttime shot of the outside I promised earlier! It looks fabulous in the dark!

Thanks to Tina for the wonderful and friendly service and thanks to Karl for driving and hanging out for the evening, always a blast to have him along for the night out on the town!
