By my calculations, we have just two weeks left after this one and then we’ll have eaten the entire menu. And so, let’s head over to Lou’s Drive-In and place this week’s order!

Here we are at Lou’s Drive-In on a Friday evening. I usually come here in the afternoon and it’s a bigger crowd here in the evening!
There’s quite a line, but it always moves quickly!
And to prove that aforementioned point, I’ve received this week’s order and once again the Lou’s sign is pointing to…

Here’s the bag and the two items for this week. Let’s unwrap them and see what we’ve got here!
Here’s the Hot Tamale which comes wrapped in some sort of corn husk thing. Okay, it’s unwrapped and time to try this out.
It’s okay but there’s not a lot of flavor here. I’ve had this before and I remembered it as kind of bland and my memory was correct.
Let’s just move along to the next item.
Okay, next up is a grilled cheese sandwich. I can’t remember ever ordering a grilled cheese from Lou’s Drive-In. It looks good and I’m glad they went with a diagonal cut on the sandwich! It’s the little things that count!
This is a really tasty grilled cheese sandwich! It’s cooked perfectly and they used a lot of butter on it. It’s crispy, rich and delicious!

As you can see, the menu is just about done. Two more weeks and we’ll finish it up and declare the best dinner you can order at Lou’s Drive-In!

Okay, the grilled cheese took the number six spot on the sandwich list and I put the hot tamale in with the sides and it landed at the number seven spot, right above the popcorn.
