Here we are at tonight’s stop, The Junction City Pub! It’s all lit up and looking spectacular tonight!
They have a nice lounge area outside here on the patio, but we’ll be going inside to where the bar is! I’m walking into bars not patios for this series, so let’s head on inside!
And there’s the bar with plenty of seats to settle into tonight.
As I looked down and saw the bartender on duty, she looked familiar…
And the reason she looks familiar is that she was the bartender at our 40th stop on this tour back when we went to Mt. Hawley Bowl!
This is Trish and she’s certainly looking beautiful tonight, it’s great to see her again! She has the honor of being the only bartender to be featured twice so far on the blog! If she holds this record till the end, we’ll have to award her a two-time bartender prize!
She’s on duty every Tuesday night here at Junction City Pub, so stop by and you can meet Trish in person!
Here’s a shot of the back of the bar and as you can see it’s well-stocked and there’s three big screen TV’s on the wall.
There’s tables up against the front window and they also line the walls opposite the bar.
I looked over at this wall and saw a familiar face, my old buddy Willie York! It’s so cool they have a tribute to him in here!
Here’s Willie on the cover of our winter 1990 issue of People Of Peoria magazine! We had a wacky interview with him and he sent me roadkill recipes from jail! Check them out in this tribute post from the past.

There’s a colorful seasonal menu above the photo of Willie and I love the Old Style sign on the wall over here.
There’s a dartboard in the corner over here and a sign pointing to a casino around the corner…
There it is…okay, it’s not really a casino, but it’s a gaming room…I guess that’s close enough!
They serve a bunch of different styles of Weaver’s Pizza in here.
This was a fun night at the Junction City Pub. Nice Willie York memories and great to see Trish again! She’s here every Tuesday night, so stop in and say hi to her!
