I was bouncing around on facecrack looking for a bar to go to last Sunday and happened to see on Tavern On Prospect’s page that they serve Butch’s Pizza.

That gave me an idea to start featuring pizzas every Sunday and what better way to start than with a locally made, Butch’s Pizza! So it’s off we go to start this saucy Sunday!

Bar Number 44: Tavern On Prospect, Sunday, February 22, 2026

Here we are at Tavern On Prospect in Junction City. They have a few chairs outside, but another cold snap has happened upon us and it’s freezing cold out here, so let’s get inside and warm up!

It’s nice and warm in here, let’s go snag a seat and get settled in for the evening!

I decided to have a High Noon vodka seltzer for something a little different tonight. Virginia was the pretty and friendly bartender on duty and here she is striking a pose with the seltzer. Nice!

I put in an order for a Butch’s Pizza and now we’ll take a few photos while that’s being cooked up in the pizza oven.

There’s a comfortable couch up front to relax in, tables line the wall opposite the bar and there’s a comedy show happening here next Saturday.

The back of the bar here is very impressive and I love the engraved mirror.

They have a nice selection of nine taps of draft beer to choose from in here.

I love the “Drink Local” t-shirt for sale and I also love that dogs are welcome in here! They’re barking up the right tree at Tavern On Prospect!
