Last Sunday I decided to take a trip to one of Peoria’s most unique cafe’s, The River Kitty Cafe.
And luckily I took a bunch of photos so you can join me for this afternoon excursion at this cafe that’s dedicated to all things feline!
Here we are at River Kitty Cafe on a lovely Sunday afternoon. Check out the sign, how did they know we were coming today?
Okay, let’s go inside and see what’s happening in there.
There’s the front counter where you place your order and Brandon was there to take mine. I love it when things fall into place like this!
I got an iced tea and a chocolate chip muffin and found a nice place to sit and relax on this fine Sunday afternoon in the River Kitty Cafe.
I love all of the cat-inspired art on the walls in the front room of the cafe.
All of the cats in here are adoptable and here’s some photos of the cats being adopted by their new parents. Nice!
Speaking of cats, they’re right in this room behind the glass wall.
Let’s go back and check them out.
I love the warning sign on the door!
There’s the back room and there’s all the kitty cats in here!
It’s a ton of fun interacting with all of the cats and the other visitors in here.
These cats were enjoying a little dinner and also checking out all the guests in here.
Here’s a shot from the back of the room.
This cat was enjoying one of the boxes in here and he posed for an extreme close-up photo!
This is such a nice place for a fun and relaxing afternoon in Peoria!
If you’ve never been, you should definitely come and check it out. The address and contact information is right below these photos.
It looks like it’s time for a little cat nap in here! We’ll take that as a cue to go home and give these cats a little rest time!
Thanks to Brandon and everyone at the River Kitty Cafe for a fun and relaxing Sunday afternoon!
