Liquor stores always have a decent supply of snacks to go along with the booze they sell. And speaking of booze, since we’re going to a liquor store it’ll be a good excuse to throw some beer into the snacking mix!

Binny’s Beverage Depot

I’ve only been to Binny’s once and it kind of overwhelmed me because it’s just so damned big in there!

Plus, I don’t like the fact that they call themselves a “Beverage Depot.” You’re a fucking liquor store, yeah an oversized liquor store but that’s what you are. You sell booze to problematic people trying to take the edge off of their horrible lives. You’re not a “beverage depot,” you’re a fucking liquor store, so stop trying to act all high and mighty by calling yourself a fucking “beverage depot!” Sheesh!

Okay, let’s go in and check out the snack situation in here now that I’m all pissed off!

Like I said, it’s too damned big in here, really overwhelming and you need a map just to find shit in here!

I do have to say that they have a decent amount of snacks in here, so they do have that going for them. But it’s just too damned big in here, so let’s get our snacks and get the hell out of here.

It’s too damned big in here and it makes my skin crawl to be shopping in a “Beverage Depot!” Fuck!

Okay, we’re back in the safety of the MBIP World Headquarters Snacking Area and here’s this week’s snacking items.

Bud Light

Since we were in a liquor store (beverage depot my ass) I got a giant can of Bud Light and we can see how the beer pairs up with this week’s snacking items!

Liquor Store Snack Number One: Mike’s Hot Honey Blue Diamond Almonds

We’re starting off with a small bag of Hot Honey Almonds, that combination sounds interesting!

Well, these were disappointing! I didn’t taste any honey and there was no heat either. They just tasted like plain almonds. Not horrible, but still disappointing!

How did they pair with the beer? Very nicely!

Liquor Store Snack Number Two: Binny’s Golf Club Mix

I thought it was weird to call this a “golf club mix!” What did they stir it with a nine iron or something?

The name may be weird, but this is a very tasty snack mix! Equal parts sweet and salty and a nice variety of nuts and small pretzel sticks. A nice rebound from the first snack!

How did they pair with the beer? Very nicely!

Liquor Store Snack Number Three: Pierre French Butter Cookies

I bought these French Butter Cookies because I thought it was a strange and unique snack to find in a liquor store! I like the way they made a French man out of the cookie on the box! Très intelligent!

The packaging is very nice, I like the sleeve the cookies are set in. The cookies were thin, crispy and had a nice flavor! A nice sweet treat to end this snacking session!
