One thing I’m learning while doing these Friday Bites posts is that MBIP commenter and counter of gumbails, Chad Wallace has a family that are serious snackers!

A few weeks ago, Chad suggested we try the snacks at Ace Hardware and then his wife, Mrs. Chad Wallace suggested we try Kohls. Both of those were places I never would’ve thought to go to for snacks.

Well, now Chad’s daughter, Chadrika has chimed in with a suggestion. Chadrika said that we should check out the snack selection at T.J. Maxx. This is yet another store I’ve never been in and never would’ve dreamed to go there looking for stackable items!

Okay, Chadrika, this blog and trip to T.J. Maxx is for you!

Here we are at T.J. Maxx on Big Hollow Road. I’ve never set foot in this store and all of that is about to change! Let’s go in and see what’s happening inside!

Lot’s of clothes over here, but I learned from the Kohls post, that the snacks in these places are up in front, so let’s go over there.

Yep, here’’s the snack aisle, front and center!

Chadrika was right, there’s a good selection of snacks and a lot of them I’ve never seen before!

Okay, I’ve chosen the items for this week’s snack session, now let’s pay and check out and head back to MBIP World Headquarters to start snacking!

Uh, I hate to break it to you, T.J. Maxx, but bags don’t love to shop. You put your crap in a bag when you’re done shopping!

Anyway, here’s the trio of snacks I selected, so let’s start this snacking session!

T.J. Maxx Snack Item Number One: Pretzel Pete Smoky Gouda Pretzel Medley

The first snack is a Smoky Gouda Flavored Pretzel Medley. I don’t think we’ve ever had a snack “medley” on a Friday Bites before. This is a first!

It turns out that a “medley” is just a bunch of different shaped pretzels and I don’t taste any gouda cheese flavor at all. In fact all I taste is salt. Lots of salt.

Now I feel like I’m in a Seinfeld episode. Hello, Newman!

T.J. Maxx Snack Item Number Two: SincerelyNuts Party Mix

I don’t like the fact that they combined the words, “Sincerely” and “Nuts” on the title of this party mix. I mean, sincerely, what are you nuts?

Besides the title faux pas, this is a tasty snack mix! It’s got different kinds of nuts including toffee covered nuts along with Cajun bread sticks giving this a nice sweet and salty mix.

This is a nice snacking rebound from the salty pretzels!

T.J. Maxx Snack Item Number Three: Gummy Body Parts

Gummy Body Parts? This sounds like a snack custom-made for Jeffrey Dahmer!

What weird looking body parts! Is that Bozo the Clown’s appendix? The last one looks like my liver after a rough night!

Look at these, they look like wrinkled butts! Okay, I’ll try one of these…

Aaaaahhhh! I had to spit it back in the bowl and now I have to type in four words that every snack reviewer hopes they never have to type: “It taste’s like ass.”
