Back when I was doing my Year of Pizza tour I had a couple of suggestions to go to what I was told was a classic Bradley University pizza place called Bacci Pizza.
When I found out that they serve slices, I was very excited because there’s not that many pizza places in Peoria that have a slice option. That’s one thing I miss about living in New York because almost every pizza place has slices.

When I was taking pictures outside someone yelled out my name and it was my friend Mara who is pictured on the left.
She and her friend LIz were driving by and I invited them inside to join me for a slice here at Bacci’s and they said they’d love to, so here we are!
I love it when things work out like this!
There’s some of the pizza pies in the case up front and tha’s Jerry holding one of the giganzo pies that are baked on the premises.
And before yo know it, our slices are being served up!
Here we are with them at our table.
The slices here are incredibly huge. The next photo really illustrates that!
