My brother Tom stopped in to Wendy’s Creative Collections & Coins to get something appraised last week and told me it was quite a unique place to have a local shopping experience.
So I decided to stop by and have a look since this is a local store I’ve never been in.

They’ve won the “Best of the Best” award for three years in a row from the PJ Star, so they must be doing something right!

Wow, the place is loaded with unique and unusual items.
I went to the back and met the owner Wendy. She told me that she’s been in business since 1999 and has been operating in this location for the past 15 years.
Wendy sells and buys coins, paper money, sports memorabilia, toys. scrap gold and more.
She said I could take a look around at some of the items in this unique local store, so let’s go have a look around in here!
Coin Collections
As far as I know, this is Peoria’s only place that caters to coin collectors and as you can see, they have a lot of coinage to check out.
Paper Money
Collectible paper money is also for sale and on display in here.
Sports Memorabilia
There’s sports memorabilia for sale including rare sports trading cards, signed baseballs and bobblehead dolls for all of you sports fans out there.

Look at all the fun toys that they have in here.
Some of this stuff you can’t find on the internet, so it’s worth a stop by to check out all of this unique merchandise.

Was this newspaper from back when JFK was shot and killed in Dallas, Texas.
