Today is one of my favorite Peoria Riverfront events and that is the fourth annual Peoria Wingfest! And this year I’ve been invited to be an official judge at the Wingfest, so that’s exciting and the reason this post is going up kind of early. I have to be there at 10:45 this morning. I’m thrilled to be a judge at this event and it’s so nice to be a judge instead of appearing before one, for a change!

Monday: Last night I went to the Grand Re-Opening Celebration at the Tartan Inn, celebrating a new era for that legendary neighborhood tavern! Ashley is the new owner and I went and got some photos from the start of the Tartan Inn’s Ashley Era! There’s photos of Ashley, Joe, Michelle and others plus a grilled pork chop sandwich!
Tuesday: We’re continuing with the 13 month chicken tour and this will be a special post from the 4th annual Peoria Wingfest that’s happening today! I’m a judge and I have to get there shortly!
Wednesday: I just found out on the interwebs that Sam’s Club and Costco have a hot dog rivalry. I’ve never been inside either one, so I’m going to do a comparison and take a look around and then add a Lou’s hot dog into the mix. I’m not quite sure how this is going to go, so tune in and see!
Thursday: We have yet another Thursday Minute Marty Meals in the works and this week it’s a Steak-Umm Rice-A-Role!
Friday: Another item from the MBIP World Headquarters will be highlighted in this Casual Friday post and I’ll write something about it.
Saturday: You’ll get yet another Saturday Dinner Suggestion along with photos and links from the MBIP Archives!
Okay, I have to go and get over to the Peoria Wingfest to start my judging gig! I hope to see you there! It’s not too early to start drinking is it? On second thought, don’t answer that! Cheers!
