No, I wasn’t calling you Henry, I was about to say that we’re going to Henry, Illinois today. So go back where you came from, plus you’re black and white and this is a full color blog!

Okay, let’s check that door again! Hopefully it’s not Henry again!

It’s our pal and the MBIP Wheelman, Scott Turley in living color! Love the hot dog shirt and this can only mean one thing…it’s time for…

The Scott Turley Road Trip!

We’re heading off to Grandma’s Bar & Grill, Inc. which is located in Henry, Illinois. This is our first trip to Henry and it looks like we’ve arrived here already! That was some quick and nice driving, Scott!

There it is, our first bar in Henry, Illinois, Grandma’s Bar & Grill.

Scott likes the address of this place, 420!

They have a nice bar in here and this gentleman was bartending and served me up a 16 ounce can of Carlsberg beer. I forgot to write his name down though, so we’ll just refer to him as, “Bart.”

There’s Scott at the bar with the other special guest star of the day, Whit! We picked up Whit in Chillicothe on our way to Henry.

Cheers and beers from all three of us!

As you can see from the lit-up bottles, this is a well-stocked bar!

There’s the five beers on tap and a wooden sign reminds you where you are just in case you’ve forgotten!

Gaming machines line the wall opposite the bar and there’s a pool table up in the front of the bar.

Meanwhile, back at the bar…

Our dinner has arrived!

Scott and I each got a half a tenderloin sandwich with fries and Whit had eaten already, so he had a another beer!

There’s the infamous, “Turley Bite!” I think he devoured about half of the sandwich with that one!

I added some mustard to mine and this was a tasty and delicious tenderloin sandwich with a toasted, bakery fresh bun!

That sign is correct, this is definitely not your average Grandma’s Bar & Grill!

On our way out, Scott pointed out the shadow on the pool table, it’s the perfect parting shot!

Thanks to Scott for driving and thanks to Whit for buying our dinner! It was fun to hang out with both of them on this lovely Sunday afternoon in Henry, Illinois!
