A Guy Walks Into 365 Bars…Again! Bar Number 120: Jukebox Comedy Club

by MBIP

The Jukebox Comedy Club is Peoria’s one and only comedy club. It’s been in operation since 1990 and tonight it’s going to be the 120th bar of this 365 bar tour in and around Peoria.

Let’s go and get some laughs at the Jukebox Comedy Club on Farmington Road!

Bar Number 120: Jukebox Comedy Club, Thursday, May 14, 2026

Okay, here we are at the Jukebox Comedy Club on Farmington Road. As the sign says, tonight we’re seeing the legendary Jimmy Pardo!

There’s our weekly guest star, Jim/Vern leading the way inside!

As soon as we step inside, I see a familiar face over there…it’s the owner and operator of the Jukebox Comedy Club, Dan Conlin!

Always great to see Dan! Dan was featured on WCBU this week and you can hear the interview by clicking right here.

Dan discusses the hardships the club has had since the pandemic caused them to shut down back in 2020. If you’d like to help the Jukebox out, click here to donate to the Go Fund Me page to help keep this comedy club in business!

David was working the bar and it was great to see and chat with him!

I love the bar in here with artwork featuring local comedy legends, Richard Pryor and Sam Kinison.

And speaking of local legends, there’s aforementioned Jim/Vern at the bar. Jim has noted in a previous comment that he also has the nickname of “Carl.” This guy leads several lives and I can’t keep up with all of them! But it’s great to have him along as always!

Here’s a shot from the back of the bar.

There’s autographed photos of some of the famous comedians that have appeared here including Pauley Shore, Robert Schimmel, Tom Arnold, Chris Kattan and Tom Green.

I was at the Chris Kattan and Tom Green shows and you can click on the links to see those posts from the past!

This is a great painting of Peoria’s own Sam Kinison. I met Sam once and you can read that Sam story by clicking on this link.

A nice crowd is starting to show up for tonight’s comedy show! Great to see the people supporting the Jukebox!

Here’s three familiar faces in the crowd, Jason, Lindsey and Dustin!

Jason and Dustin host an entertaining and fun podcast called Radio Rewind (along with Tyler) and I was a guest on the podcast last month. Here’s the blog post from that and you can hear the entire show by clicking on this link!

Thanks again for having me on the show!

Okay, it’s just about showtime, let’s go into the theater here at the Jukebox!

There’s the iconic stage with the Jukebox, Richard Pryor and the ever-present stool!

There’s Dan onstage welcoming the crowd and introducing tonight’s host for the show…

Jake Jaeger! Jake did a great job as host and was entertaining and very funny! Check out his facecrack page by clicking here.

Lou Palomino was the first comedian for the evening and he was hilarious. The crowd loved him and you can check him out online right here.

Leslie Mitchell was next and she killed with her set of original and unique brand of comedy. The crowd loved her! Check out her website right here.

Jimmy Pardo was the headliner and he crushed it onstage! This guy’s humor runs a mile and a half a minute and a good chunk of it is improv, made up on the spot and he is absolutely hilarious!

The laughter never stopped during this energetic and entertaining comedy set! The crowd loved him and if you ever get the chance to see him, make sure you do! I’m anxious for him to return to the Jukebox Comedy Club again!

Jimmy’s also a pioneer in the podcast world, check out his Never Not Funny podcast by clicking here. The podcast just celebrated its 20th anniversary and it’s a fun and unique podcast!

This was a blast at the Jukebox Comedy Club and thanks to Dan and all the comedians for an entertaining evening! And thanks to Jim/Vern, sometimes known as Carl for driving and joining me for this evening at our 120th bar!
