A Guy Walks Into 365 Bars…Again! Bar Number 119: Norwood Tap

by MBIP

Okay, those of you who have been following along may remember that I tried to visit the Norwood Tap last Monday and it was closed, so I went to Duck’s instead.

Well, I’m a firm believer in that if at first you don’t succeed, you try and try again. So tonight, it’s back to try to see if we can get inside the doors of the reclusive Norwood Tap!

Bar Number 119: Norwood Tap, Wednesday, May 13, 2026

Here we are, once again at the Norwood Tap and this time the sign says that it’s open! Hooray, let’s go inside and see what’s happening in there.

That’s a nice looking bar and there’s plenty of seats available. Let’s snag one and get settled in for the evening.

Isabelle was the friendly and pretty bartender on duty and here she is serving me up an ice-cold can of Budweiser. She told me she follows the blog and I always love to hear that!

Isabelle told me that Monday’s are the only night they’re closed, but that might change in the future. They currently open up at 3pm on Tuesday and Wednesday and at noon Thursday through Sunday.

On Wednesday nights, domestic beers are just a buck a can, such a deal! Glad I got here on this night after all!

As you can see, it’s a well-stocked bar and there’s the quartet of beers available on tap.

Here’s a couple of different angles of the bar for your viewing pleasure!

There’s tables opposite the bar for dining and drinking.

There’s a dartboard on the front wall and in the corner are gaming machines if you’re in the mood to gamble.

In addition to one dollar domestic beers on Wednesday, there’s also three dollar vodka cocktails!

And that’s my bucket list for sure!

Here’s a shot from the very back of the bar.

They have t-shirts for sale behind the bar if you’d like to take home a souvenir from your time in here.

And here’s the nighttime shot of the sweet darkness that has fallen on the Norwood Tap!
