Okay, it’s another trip with the weekly guest co-host of this series, Jim/Vern. Once again, he chose tonight’s bar and is driving us there and tonight’s bar is the Bellevue Tap in Bellevue, Illinois. Where else would the Bellevue Tap be?

Okay, let’s hit the road to Bellevue and visit our 69th bar in this series!

Bar Number 69: Bellevue Tap, Thursday, March19, 2026

Here we are at tonight’s destination, The Bellevue Tap. I love all the lights on the outside of the bar and Jim/Vern looks absolutely electric leading the way inside!

The bar is pretty well filled up, but we snagged two chairs down at the very end of it.

Jennifer was the pretty and friendly bartender on duty and here she is serving me up an ice-cold can of Budweiser. We’re off to a fantastic start tonight!

Last week I forgot to get a shot of Jim/Vern at the bar, but not this week! There he is in all his glory! Always great to have him along for the evening!

Ashley, Mandy and John were seated at the bar and they loved the 365 bar tour idea, great to meet all of them!

Jennifer took a shot of the taps behind the bar and there’s Mandy and Ashley joining in!

They have a full menu here at Bellevue Tap and Jim ordered something off of it. Keep on scrolling to see what he got for dinner!

Here’s the back of the bar and there’s tables and chairs lining the wall opposite the bar.

There’s a couple of the drink specials that happen here and I love the fact that they added Chad Wallace’s name to the Pabst special! His love of Pabst Blue Ribbon is known all over Illinois!

There’s a dining area in the back on the other side of the room.

There’s lots of tables and chairs back here and I love the Jack Daniel’s tables that line the wall in here!

There’s another room over here and it houses gaming machines. Enter only if you’re feeling lucky. Well, do ya punk?

Meanwhile, back at the bar…

Jim’s dinner has arrived and it looks fantastic!

He got the Mushroom Swiss Burger and a side of fries.

Here’s a fuzzy photo of him tearing into the burger! He loved it and gave it a high rating!

I already had dinner, but I did sample the fries and they were delicious! And yes, I’m a little fuzzy at this point too!

Every Thursday they have a 100 dollar drawing and it’s happening right now!

Trent was the lucky winner and here he is at the bar with his cash winnings! Congratualations, Trent!

Trent bought everyone a drink with his winnings and that was very nice of him! Thanks, Trent!

The Bellevue Tap was originally a school house back in the day. It’s now a bar, but as the sign says, they still have class!
