Okay, so far in this tour, we’ve never been to a bar in Manito, Illinois, so I think we need to visit there tonight and that’s exactly what we’re going to do!
We’re off to Manito to visit Laurie’s Gaming & Bar establishment. So there!

Bar Number 247: Laurie’s Gaming & Bar, Tuesday, October 27, 2026
Here we are on our first evening ever in Manito, Illinois. There’s Laurie’s Gaming & Bar and now we’ll go inside and see what’s happening in there.
There’s a nice front room as you step inside with two comfortable chairs and a state-of-the-art dartboard. Nice!
The entrance to the bar area is over here, let’s go in and take a look at it.
This is a nice cozy room in here.
The bar is crowded, but I spy a couple open seats over there, so we’ll grab those.
And yes, I said a couple seats because we have a special guest star with us this evening that you’ll meet in just a moment! First we need to sit down and get settled in here.
Tascha was the pretty and friendly bartender on duty this evening and here she is serving me up a can of Pabst Blue Ribbon with a beautiful smile. We’re off to a wonderful start in here!
Tascha volunteered to take a photo of myself with the aforementioned special guest star of the evening, Tricia.
Tricia has been featured on the blog before and she’s a local author who writes under her pen name of P.A. Nimmo.

There’s no beers on tap in here, but as you can see, they have a large inventory of drinks to choose from behind the bar.
There’s tables and chairs opposite the bar and a nice jukebox on the wall over here.
Gaming machines line this wall if you feel lucky. Well, do ya, punk?
