Ding, ding and ding! The donation bell has just rung and Kathy Skinner Klister has made her monthly generous donation of five dollars!

Kathy’s a folk singer who performs under the name of Kathy Folkulele. You can hear her songs by clicking here and then subscribe to her YouTube channel.

Terry Schultz sent in a nice donation of ten dollars and I thank him for that! Terry plays bass in the band In The Middle and you can follow them on facecrack by clicking right here.

And last, but certainly not least, Wes Meuth sent in a very generous donation of $125 dollars along with this nice little poem:

“‘99 bottles of beer on the wall, 99 bottles. . . Ack! No more of this damnable earworm crap! Besides, who in their right mind leaves beers all over a wall anyway! Humpty Dumpty? Per the last post, you have 121 bars left (+ the 4 lost beers from before).”

Ha ha ha! Thanks so much to Wes, Terry and Kathy for the generous donations!

If you’d like to donate to help with the cost of drinks, Uber and gas, just click right here and hit the donate button!

Tonight we’re headed over to East Peoria to check out a bar I’ve heard a lot of nice things about: DB’s On Camp Street.

And so it’s off to Camp Street we go! See how easy this is?

Bar Number 146: DB’s On Camp St., Monday, October 26, 2026

Here we are at DB’s On Camp St. There’s a front door over there, but that’s not where you enter the bar…

You enter over here on the side of the building. Check out that sign, lots of character in that thing!

Okay, let’s go in and start our evening at DB’s On Camp St.

It’s very nice in here and there’s some seats at the bar, let’s go get settled in for the evening!

Ashley was the pretty and friendly bartender on duty this evening and here she is serving me up a bottle of Budweiser. We’re off to a great start in here.

They don’t have any beers on tap in here, but as you can see, they are a very well-stocked bar.

They have a row of gaming machines lining the wall opposite the bar if you’re in a gambling mood.

Ashley joined Samm, Tara and Brooke at the end of the bar for this fabulous photo.

They all follow the blog and I thanked them for that and check out these beautiful smiles!

It was wonderful to meet and chat with all of them. This is really a friendly bar to hang out at!

There’s a nice pool table over here and there’s also a Golden Tee game and a Bullshooter dart board that Brooke got a bullseye on shortly after I took this photo! Congratulations, Brooke!

I love all the signs and art on the walls in here including that Jimi Hendrix portrait! There’s some of the Happy Hour specials listed on that sign over there.

They have a nice tribute to musician Joe Diffie on the jukebox over on this wall.

The Halloween decorations are all set up and there’s the food menu at the end of the bar.

Here’s a parting shot from the end of the bar.

Thanks to Ashley and everyone in DB’s for a fun and friendly evening at this wonderful neighborhood bar!
