Okay, I’ve been meaning to go to Jac’s Doghouse in Pekin for a while and tonight is the night that I decided to go there.
And so, just like that, it’s off to Pekin we go!

Here we are at Jac’s Doghouse in Pekin, Illinois. I love the sign, lot’s of character in that! Let’s go in and see what’s shaking inside of the Doghouse.
It’s a nice and somewhat dark atmosphere in here, which is perfect! Let’s grab a seat at the bar and get settled in for the evening.
Colleen was the pretty and friendly bartender on duty and here she is serving me up the first Budweiser of the evening. Cheers!
There’s the back of the well-stocked bar and “Jac’s Doghouse” is prominently etched on the mirror back there.
I love that the beers on tap are located in this doghouse behind the bar! That’s a first and it’s so cool!
Here’s a shot of the bar from the back of the room.
There’s a row of tables directly behind the bar, three dartboards and a jukebox line the wall opposite the tables and gaming machines line the other wall for all of you gamblers out there.
I love the Harley Davidson motorcycle perched up near the ceiling over here. Very cool!

Here’s the daily specials and they’re having a Halloween Party in here on October 31st!
There’s a back room with three pool tables housed within it.
Meanwhile, back at the bar…
I met and had a nice conversation with Scott and Mike! They both live here in Pekin and Scott said he follows the blog and enjoyed the post we did from Rhythm & Brews and told me that he bartends there one night a week.
It was a pleasure to meet and chat with both of them and this was a fun evening at Jac’s Doghouse!
