On Easter Sunday, my friend Mike had secured a Suite at Dozer Park and was having a Peoria Chiefs party with his family and he invited me to be part of the festivities and I happily accepted. Then that Sunday it rained on our Easter parade and the game was cancelled. I had a Rain Day post instead.
Well, Michael had a make-up day last week and invited to me to an abridged version of the Suite party, the number of guests got shortened to myself, Mike and a mystery guest!
We had a fun night at Dozer Park and the evidence from that evening in pictured below so keep on scrolling!
Here we are at Dozer Park in beautiful downtown Peoria! There’s a drum orchestra banging up a storm outside of the park.
Okay, let’s go in and start our afternoon and evening at the Peoria Chiefs game at Dozer Park!
Being a big Chuck Berry fan, I was thrilled that we were going to be spending our evening in Suite 16, courtesy of Mike, A.K.A. Dr. Frasca.
And there’s the good Doctor himself inside of our Suite 16 party room!
As you can see, the suite is very nice with comfortable chairs and a couch and a wonderful view of…
Dozer Park in all of its baseball glory! It’s a perfect evening for a Peoria Chiefs game.
Here’s Eric, our personal waiter for the evening delivering me a giant can of Budweiser. We’re off to a fantastic start to the evening!
The game is off and running and it’s fun to watch from the vantage point of our Suite 16!
They offer a full dinner menu, so we placed our order with Eric…
And before you know it, here’s tonight’s baseball dinner. We got the Mozzarella Sticks, Buffalo Wings and a Peoria Dog with homemade chips. Everything looks fantastic!
There’s Mike enjoying the Peoria Dog!
After dinner we were joined by Emery and Homer! Fun!
I ventured out of the Suite to wander around a little and here’s the lounge that’s located on the same floor as the suites.
I went down to the lower level where the seats are and there’s a nice statue and tribute to the original owner of the Peoria Chiefs, Pete Vonachen.
They have a nice gift shop here with lots of Peoria Chiefs merchandise to take home with you!
I ran into Carrie and it was wonderful to see her and catch up on things with her!
The evening has set in and this was a wonderful night at Dozer Park.
Thanks to Mike for inviting me to enjoy the Suite 16 party and for dinner! I had a blast and it was a fun evening at the ballpark!
