This coming Thursday is Thanksgiving and I have one Thanksgiving tradition I faithfully follow every year: After the dinner is over and I come home, I make sure that my refrigerator is well-stocked with liquid refreshments and then I watch the best Thanksgiving movie ever made: Planes Trains & Automobiles.
If you’ve never seen it, do yourself and watch it this year and if you have, I’m sure you’re like me and you watch it every year around this time.

MBIP Coming Attractions
Monday: Last night I went to the Craig Moore produced Elvis extravaganza concert, The Music Of Elvis Presley Live! at the 3300 Event Center. It was an extraordinary show and production and I’ll have photos and a post on this spectacular show tomorrow. Thank ya…thank ya very much!
Tuesday: We continue our appetizer tour by sampling the appetizers at Brasky’s with this week’s special guest star, Phil Raso, who has a Mystery Mind Reading Show coming up this Friday that you should attend!
Wednesday: Friday is the 138th Annual Santa Claus Parade in downtown Peoria! One of the people who volunteer and help make this legendary parade happen is Paul Kluber and he gave me a personal guided tour of some of the floats that will be appearing this year. The photos from this tour will be up on Wednesday!
Thursday: Thursday is Thanksgiving, so we’ll have a special Turkey day post in honor of that!
Friday: Friday is Black Friday, so it’s a perfect day to continue our Six Shops Of Xmas tour!
Saturday: We’ll be looking back in Peoria’s past with another Meanwhile, Back In Peoria’s Past post.
