For this week’s snack-a-licious post, I happened to notice three snack items in the frozen food aisle at the grocery store that all have the word, “Bites” in their title. Since this is “Friday Bites,” how perfect is that?
If you’re a regular reader of the MBIP blog, I think you know where the next stop is going to be…
That’s right, Schnucks grocery store!
We’ll head into the frozen food aisle and get our trio of bite snacks.
Now, back to MBIP World Headquarters to let this week’s snacking episode begin! Va-voom, off we go!

The MBIP World Headquarters Snack Tasting Area
Here’s the trio of snacks for this week’s snacking adventure, clockwise from the top: White Castle Cheeseburger Castle Bites, Bagel Bites and Old El Paso Taco Bites.
Okay, time to let the snacking begin!
——
Snack Bites Number One: Bagel Bites
First up are the Three Cheese Bagel Bites Pizza Snacks.
I’m going to microwave everything and there’s the instructions. It says to place the whole tray in and nuke away! So here we go, set it and don’t forget it.
The condiments for the Bagle Bites are Cholula Hot Sauce and ground black pepper.
Here’s the Bagel Bites fresh out of the microwave and all seasoned up with the aforementioned condiments.
I took a bite and even with the hot sauce and black pepper, these are pretty bland and not too flavorful. Time to move on to snack bites number two.

Snack Bites Number Two: White Castle Cheeseburger Castle Bites
Our second snack bites is the White Castle Cheeseburger Castle Bites.
These have a strange microwave instruction of putting a half dozen snacks in a circle before you nuke them.
I counted out six of them and complied with the circle rule and here we go with this microwave circle jerk. Yee and ha!
For the Bagel Bites, we’ll sauce them up with some of the Lovingoods Sweet & Fiery BBQ Sauce that we sampled the other week on our three week sauce tour and some ground black pepper.
With the snacks all lined up in a circle, they look kind of like synchronized swimming snacks.
They exploded on the plate and some of the filling creeped out.
These were really tasty and had a nice flavor to them! The Lovingood’s BBQ sauce complimented them perfectly and these were some tasty snack bites!
——
Snack Bites Number Three: Old El Paso Taco Bites
The third and last snack bite of this snacking session are Old El Paso Taco Bites.
I arranged them in a single layer as instructed and set them for the required time of a minute and twenty five seconds.
I decided to use the Butch’s Sweet and Heat sauce from Tuesday’s saucy post and some black pepper for the condiments for our third and last biting snack.
All I tasted from these bite-sized taco snacks was the black pepper and the Butch’s Sweet Heat Sauce.
These things were totally flavorless and extremely blah.
Well, to somewhat quote the Meat of Loaf, “one out of three ain’t bad.”
If you’re an old person like me, you no doubt remember this TV show, The Mod Squad, from the ‘60’s and early ‘70’s. They were hippies who got assigned to be undercover cops.
The tagline for the show was, “One Black, One White, One Blonde.” This inspired me to name this trio of snacks…
The Snack Squad: One Bland, One Tasty and One Blah.
This concludes this week’s snacking post, have a wonderful Friday everyone and happy snacking to you!
