Relics is one of my favorite shops in Peoria and they had a 13th birthday party last Saturday.
So of course I went and took pictures and if you missed the party, you can be part of it by scrolling on down this post!
Here’s a photo of the first incarnation of Relics when it was located on Adams Street in downtown Peoria. They first opened up in 2008. (Photo by Chris Shaw.)
A few years later they moved into this location on Glen Avenue. Here’s a link to the very first MBIP post I did on Relics back in 2013!
I can’t believe that was eight years ago! Fun flies when you’re having time!
And here we are at the brand new location of Relics that opened up on Sheridan Road back in June of this year.
I love the front windows: Gifts, Plants, Jewelry and Fun.
Who could ask for anything more?

This is the largest space Relics has ever had. And as you can see, it’s packed with merchandise and you can browse in here for hours and be entertained by all the unique and fun items on display.

There’s so much one-of-a-kind merchandise in here and a lot of it you can’t find on the internet.
It’s a good excuse to walk away from your phone or computer and go out and shop local in person.
I love the creepy child cement plant holders and they have the coolest refrigerator magnets in town!
There’s a lot of interesting Peoria-related gifts to be had in here.
Check out all the books in here, really unique and interesting titles and themes.
They have a huge inventory of all kinds of exotic house plants and there’s even a display outside in front of the store!

They have cards for every occasion and some you didn’t even know existed!
