Saturday Night Half-Baked Pizza From Agatucci’s

Live, from Peoria, Illinois, it’s Saturday Night Half-Baked Pizza from Agatucci’s starring Heather and a lovely cheese pizza just for me. Now please welcome me, starting out at MBIP World Headquarters before we venture out for a rare pandemic mini road trip!

I’m not that into getting take-out food. If I’m going to bring food back to the MBIP World Headquarters, I’d rather make it fresh myself. However, when I heard that Agatucci’s were making take and bake pizzas, I had to go get one. I’ve been jonesing for an Aggie’s pizza ever since we went on lock down.

They put up the directions on their facecrack page, so I set my oven to pre-heat at 475, and when we get home, we can put the pizza in the oven immediately.

Okay, it’s off to Agatucci’s we go!

We’re headed down University and there’s a Agatucci’s up ahead. Let’s pull inside the parking lot.

Okay, we’re parked in the lot. The pizza should arrive at any given moment.

And just like magic, here’s Heather with our half-baked Agatucci’s pizza. She looks cute in her mask and it was nice to see and chat with her

There’s the pizza in the MBIP Mobile and then transferred back to the MBIP World Headquarters Kitchen and Tasting Area.

The pizza looks a little strange in the half-baked stage.

I got a cheese pizza with extra cheese. We’ll pop it in the oven and see how it cooks up.

Hmm…what should we do now?

Oh, I know, we’ll drink a beer! And we’ll watch a couple Agatucci’s related videos on YouTube.

This is the Agatucci’s vintage Hamm’s beer sign. I could stare at this all night.

Okay, the pizza is done and it looks amazing!

It’s too big for a plate, so I put it back in the box.

We’ll slice it up into Agatucci-styled squares. No slices for this pie! We have to do this right!

And now, while we wait for it to cool, let’s watch yet another Agatucci’s related video.

Okay, the pizza has cooled and time to try it out.

Oh my god, it tastes so good! It’s not quite as fun as eating in the restaurant and hanging out with Tony and Danny, but it’s still a nice time enjoying Agatucci’s pizza.

I’m looking forward to their re-opening, but till then, this was a nice Saturday night half-baked pizza evening!
