I love all the different restaurants in Peoria and we are lucky to have a nice variety of local places to eat at. But if you put a gun to my head and asked me my favorite place, it would have to be Agatucci’s. Proof of this is in the photos visits and meals I’ve had there in the last seven years since I moved back to Peoria.
Let’s take a look and then I have a wonderful announcement to make!
Agatucci’s
Agatucci’s is Peoria’s oldest and most beloved pizza parlor, bar and restaurant. They’ve been on this corner since 1926 and you can read all about their history here.
The Dining Room

I love the bar at Agatucci’s, it’s where I sit when I come and dine alone.

And when I sit at the bar, I always enjoy conversation and jokes with Tony and Danny Agatucci. They are the hosts and bartenders and two of the nicest guys in the world!
People At Agatucci’s
Agatucci’s is a fun social place and this is just a small sampling of the great people and fun times I’ve had at Agatucci’s in the last seven years since I moved back to Peoria.
Food
And of course, there’s the delicious pizza and homemade food at Agatucci’s!
Sadly, it’s been closed for the last six weeks due to the horrible pandemic that we’re all trying to deal with.

Starting tomorrow, Agatucci’s is back, Jack! They’re going to be offering curbside service on Friday, Saturday and Sunday!
