It’s hard to believe this but it’s been 56 years since The Beatles made their first appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show back on February 9th, 1964! I was just five-years-old and in kindergarten, but I remember watching them on a black and white TV with my family.

Monday: The Four Points By Sheraton has re-opened in downtown Peoria and within the hotel is a brand new pub/restaurant called Craft 309. I went there last night and you can see pictures of it and what I had for my Saturday night dinner tomorrow on the blog.
Tuesday: The MBIP 26 week Mexican food tour continues and this week I visited Casa de Arte on last week’s First Friday celebration.
Wednesday: My friends John and De Ingles have moved their Smilley Graphix business to downtown Peoria, so of course I had to bring them a cake from Trefzger’s and check out their new office space!
Thursday: I’ll be making another Thursday Minute Marty Meal in the MBIP World Headquarters kitchen, so stay tuned for that!
Friday: I finished up the burger menu last week as we eat our way through the McDonald’s menu and now we’re up to the chicken and sandwiches portion. So far I’m not McLovin’ this, but it’s been an interesting journey!
Saturday: We’ll go between the bread to spotlight yet another Sandwich of Peoria in that ongoing weekly series!
