Now please welcome, all the way from Pioneer Park…Olympia Sports Bar & Grill!
Alright, here we are on a late Saturday afternoon at Olympia Sports Bar & Grill. They’ve adapted to the current no eating inside Covid mitigation by adding tables outside on the front patio and on the sidewalk here in front of the building.
They’ve even made a tent-like eating area outside complete with space heaters to enjoy a meal.
I’m getting take-out, so let’s go inside and pick up this week’s dinner.
Note the unplanned obligatory shadow on the wall, I love it when that happens! The Shadow knows…
This is the first time I’ve been in here and seen the long and winding bar completely empty.
There’s Watson, the bar manager behind the bar. He said that things are going okay, considering we’re in the midst of a pandemic. He said they can use all the business they can get, so please order a take-out meal and some drinks from here when you can.
Now, more than ever, we need to eat, drink and shop local!
Watson said he’d check on my dinner, so I decided to take some photos of Olympia in these pandemic times.
There’s the wooden booths opposite the bar and lots of chalk art from local chalk artist god, Devin McGlone.
They also have t-shirts for sale in here that would make nice Xmas gifts!
There’s the back room and the gaming area, which for now, are closed to the public.
Watson told me that you can get cans and bottles of beer to go and you can also get mixed drinks to take away with your meal.
He said that soon they’ll be offering growlers of the many choices of draft beer, so keep checking their website for more information on that.

Baboom, through the magic of the internet, here we are back at MBIP World Headquarters Kitchen and Tasting Area. Time to feast on this week’s Saturday night take-out meal.

I got an order of their hot wings for an appetizer and they were spicy, succulent and delicious! Just the right amount of heat and the wings were juicy and flavorful!
A fabulous and tasty start to this week’s Saturday night meal!
I also got an order of their homemade onion rings.
These were crispy and crunchy. Very delicious, now on to the main course!
I got a buffalo chicken gyro and it looks absolutely fantastic. Look at all the chicken on this Greek sandwich!
I added some of the spicy tzatziki sauce and this was such a delicious gyro!
The chicken was spicy with buffalo sauce and there was also onions, tomatoes and I got mine with a layer of melted cheddar cheese.
What a unique and delicious gyro. You can only get a Buffalo Chicken Gyro at Olympia, so I recommend you stop by and try one out soon!
I also got the Baklava Cheesecake for dessert, but it was so delicious, I gobbled it up before I had a chance to take a photo of it! Trust me it was a sweet treat and if you want to see it, stop by and order one to go or you can eat outside on the heated patio!
