Okay, I’m kind of scrambling for time today and this week’s weekend posts are going to stray from the normal weekend format. Oh wait, there really isn’t a normal weekend format, so never mind. Every month Peoria has a “First Friday” event on the first Friday of the month. Lots of stores and art galleries participate in this and I’ve never been able to go to one. But since yesterday was a holiday, I finally made it to one. I was going to put up the MBIP First Friday post today, but some things came up, I’m running behind and so I’m going to put up a preview of tomorrow’s post and the whole shebang will be up tomorrow. And yes, I pretty much did all of this just so I could type in the word, “shebang.” So there!
