Twelve Weeks Of Chicken Wings: Week Number Fifteen—A Winged Wrap-Up And The Best Chicken Wings Of The Tour (As Picked By The MBIP Esteemed Team Of Judges)

by MBIP

Okay, I’ve successfully stretched twelve weeks into fifteen on this MBIP Twelve Weeks of Chicken Wing Tour and it’s finally time to wrap this food tour up and start on a brand new adventure. Below are pictures from each stop we made in the last three months and at the end is the best restaurant that won out in the final judgement day from last week. And here are the stops in the order of appearance:

Week Number One: Agatucci’s

Week Number Two: Kenny’s Westside Pub

Week Number Three: The River Side Cafe in The Embassy Suites Hotel

Week Number Four: A World Of Wings

Week Number Five: Norwood Pub & Grub

Week Number Six: Boss Hog’s

Week Number Seven: Country Club BBQ

Week Number Eight: The 50’s Diner

Week Number Nine: Mud Puddle Pizza

Week Number Ten: No Wake Zone

Week Number Eleven: Blue Duck Barbecue Tavern

Week Number Twelve: Hammer’s Bar & Restaurant

Week Number Thirteen: The Turley’s

Week Number Fourteen: Judgement Day!

Last week we went to the restaurants and bars that earned a four star rating and the MBIP team of esteemed wing judges picked a winner. Above are the judges: Scott, Brennen, John and De. Below are the wings that they sampled (Clockwise from top upper left): Hammer’s, No Wake Zone, Blue Duck BBQ, Country Club BBQ and Kenny’s Westside Pub. We need to note that Mud Puddle Pizza also got a four star rating, but couldn’t participate on the day of judging because it was rented out for a private party. And I want to also say that this was really a close race and just a point or two stood between all the chicken wings.

Blue Duck BBQ!

As I said, this was really close, but Blue Duck BBQ took the title from the judge’s scores. Congratulations to co-owners, Kavan and Joanna and the entire Blue Duck BBQ team for cooking up the winning chicken wings of this tour! I want to thank Scott, Brennen, John and De for being the judges and taking such great notes on the presentation and taste that made their final decisions on the wings. And big thanks to all the restaurants and bars for being so hospitable and friendly and in my eyes, you’re all winners! Thanks for twelve weeks of tasty chicken wings and we’ll see you all tomorrow!
