I saw that a new owner purchased Tyroni’s Italian Cafe in Bartonville. While I was reading about that, I realized that I hadn’t been there for quite a while. The last time I was there was when we shot a video there about four years ago.
I remember that they had a bar in there and so I decided it was time for a return visit and to make that bar our 179th stop of this 365 bars tour.
And so, it’s off to Bartonville we go!

Bar Number 179: Tyroni’s Italian Cafe, Saturday, August 1, 2026
As we cruise into Bartonville there’s a signpost ahead…Tyroni’s Italian Cafe…
Let’s go inside and start this week’s Saturday night evening in Bartonville.
The sign at the podium says to “wait to be seated,” but there’s the bar and there’s plenty of open seats, so we’re not going to wait, we’ll just snag a chair and get settled in.
Ashley was the cute and friendly bartender on duty. She brought me a bottle of Budweiser and took my dinner order. Things are going wonderful in here so far!
There’s a shot from the end of the bar and the half dozen beers on tap behind the bar.
The Tyroni’s logo is drawn in chalk behind the bar.
The original name of Tyroni’s was Terry’s and you can read about the history of the restaurant here. They have delivery service and you can check that out by clicking right here.
There’s a lone booth and table opposite the bar in here.
They have a full dining room to the right of the bar with tables and comfortable booths.
The room to the left of the bar is…
The Pick-Up desk for outgoing orders and there’s also tables in here and a gaming area in the back.
Meanwhile, back at the bar, it looks like our Saturday night dinner is about to happen!
I started off with an order of their Home-Made Chips that come with a tub of melted cheese.
The chips were crispy and tasty and the cheese sauce was rich and a creamy treat. This was a fantastic start to our Saturday night dinner in here!
Here’s the star of the show tonight, a ten inch bacon and cheese pizza!
I added some hot sauce and the pizza was just as delicious as I remember it from four years ago!
The crust was thin and crispy and the sauce had a wonderful flavor to it. This is excellent pizza and if you’ve never had it, you should stop in to Tyroni’s and check it out!
As I finished up the pizza, I had a nice chat with Jessi, who’s the pretty manager in here.
This was a nice evening in Bartonville and thanks to Jessi, Ashley and everyone at Tyroni’s Italian Cafe for a fantastic Saturday night dinner!
