Okay, we’re starting a new Sunday series this week of eating a meal from the steering wheel of the MBIP Mobile.
I thought we’d grab the first meal from a classic place on Main Street, Haddad’s Restaurant. And so away we go to Haddad’s on Main Street!

The Sunday Steering Wheel Meal - This Week: Haddad’s Restaurant
Here’s the MBIP Mobile parked in the corner of the Campustown parking lot.
We’ll take a quick walk down Main Street to Haddad’s Resataurant. Let’s go inside and see what’s going on inside of there.
There’s the front counter and I think I see a couple of familiar faces back there…
It’s Nidal and Gabe Haddad, the owners of this restaurant and two very nice and friendly people.
It’s great to see them again and we had a nice chat. I ordered my Steering Wheel Meal and we’ll take a look around in here while it’s being prepared.
There’s a nice dining area in here and there’s some cool photos on the wall over here.
In addition to the restaurant, they also have a food truck that’s available for catering and private parties.
Okay, the order is complete, so it’s back to Main Street and to the MBIP Mobile we go!
Now it’s time to set up our steering wheel dining area.
A quick flip and switch and away we go!
Here’s the transfer from the bag to the steering wheel meal.
We have a three course steering wheel meal, let’s dig into it!

Course Number One: The Side Dish
For this week’s side dish I got an order of the Lebanese Rice, which is treadional white rice with angel hair pasta.
This is delicuous white rice and the angel hair psata adds a nice layer to the flavor.

Course Number Two: The Main Dish
The main dish this week is a pork chop sandwich and it looks absolutely delicious!
Let’s take a bite!
I got it with barbecue sauce and mustard and it is such a tasty sandwich!
The pork chop is savory, vert tasty and grilled to perfection and the bun is bakery fresh. A wonderful pork chop sandwich and so delicious!
——
Course Number Three: The Dessert
For dessert I got an order of their homemade Baklava and this was a sweet and tasty treat!
This was a wonderful meal from Haddad’s Restaurant and a fabulous start to this series!
A quick look into the rear view mirror and we’re gone like a cook breeze!
