I thought that tonight we’d visit a Happy Days sounding bar in Pekin, Illinois called Pottsie’s Place.
And so that’s exactly what we’re going to do. See how easy this is? And it’s off to Pekin we go!

That froggy logo is also on the door as we walk inside of Pottsie’s Place on a Sunday evening in Pekin, Illinois.
Wow, that’s an impressive wooden bar! Let’s snag a seat and get settled in for the evening!
Debbie was the lovely and friendly bartender on duty and here she is serving me up a can of Busch beer. All domestic cans of beer in here are just two bucks, all the time, every day of the week! Such a deal!
Debbie told me to look at the bar behind me and guess what this building used to be. I looked at the unique wall structure and guessed that it used to be a Pizza Hut and I was right!
Debbie went to the back office and found this photo of the building back when it was a Pizza Hut here in Pekin. How cool!
There’s the quartet of beers on tap behind the bar and as you can see, they have a nice inventory of booze back there as well!

Meanwhile, back at the bar I had my second can of Busch for just two bucks! Once again, all domestic cans of beer in here are just two bucks every day in here! What a deal!
On the way to the car, I took a shot of the mural on the side of the building that has the frog in a Prince-like purple shade!

I had two cans of Busch beer for just two bucks a can. I would’ve had more, but sadly I was driving and wasn’t in the mood to get a D.U.I. in Pekin on a Sunday evening!
