Jack’s Pizza Tavern opened up in Bartonville last December to huge crowds and it’s become a favorite tavern for people in and out of Bartonville. We visited last March and you can see that post by clicking here.

One of the rules for this bar tour is that I have to go to a different bar every night (or afternoon) that I go out. Well something happened in May that’s going to allow us to return to Jack’s Pizza Tavern.

They’ve opened up a new bar, outside on their large beer patio! I love tiki bars and there isn’t any of them around here…until now! The name of the bar is: Frank’s Cove Tiki Bar.

Frank’s Cove Tiki Bar!

Wow, what a cool tiki bar, let’s grab a seat and get settled in out here!

They have a “Summer Sips” menu out here with signature tiki cocktails.

So of course I ordered one of them and here’s the pretty tiki bartender on duty, Randi, serving it up!

Frank’s Cove Tiki Cocktail Number One: Rum Runner

The first tiki cocktail I tried out was the Rum Runner and it was a delicious and satisfying drink on this warm, summer afternoon.

There was a nice banner for the 4th of July on display behind the bar and Jill, who’s the kitchen manager came over and said hi and we had a nice chat.

Frank’s Cove is a wonderful place to chill out on a summer evening and you really need to check it out!

It’s open on Thursday through Saturday, 5pm to closing time and Sundays from 11AM to 8PM.

There’s Randi mixing up tiki cocktail number two! She’s quite a talented mixologist and I nominate her for a raise in pay, are you reading this, Jack?

I’m absolutely loving these drinks and I’m feeling zero pain while drinking this Painkiller cocktail!

You can order food out here at Frank’s Cove, so of course I had to have one of their delicious homemade pizzas. I got a pepperoni and cheese pizza and it was crispy, tasty and so delicious!
