Here we are at Los Charros in East Peoria. This is quite an impressive brick building!

Let’s go inside and see what’s happening in there.

There’s the dining room and comfortable booths line the walls in here. But we’re not looking for dining tables or comfortable booths, we’re looking for…

The bar! And here it is and it’s a nice, cozy bar with plenty of open chairs.

Let’s grab one and get settled in for the evening!

This smiling gentleman was bartending and he delivered me a large margarita and took my dinner order. Everything is going perfectly in here, this evening!

The margarita was very tasty and I got the large size. When it comes to margaritas, size does indeed matter, go large or go home!

They delivered me some complimentary chips and salsa and they were a tasty appetizer for my upcoming meal!

Here’s the view from where I’m perched and there’s the three frozen margarita machines off in the distance.

There’s the quartet of beers on tap behind the bar.

Meanwhile, back at my seat at the bar…

Dinner is served!

I got a trio of tacos which are served wrapped up and it comes with rice and beans. I wisely told them to hold the beans and they gave me a double order of rice. The rice was seasoned nicely and was very flavorful and fluffy.

Here’s the three tacos unwrapped and they look fantastic!

There was a little tub of house-made sauce for the tacos, so I poured it on and now it’s time to try them out.

I got the Tacos Al Pastor, which are pork tacos and they were so tasty and seasoned perfectly. The sauce complimented them nicely and added some spicy flavor to them. I really enjoyed these and highly recommend them if you come here for dinner.
