The Missing Zither is a bar here in Peoria that I didn’t even know of its existence until tonight’s special guest star suggested the place for a stop on the 365 bar tour.
And so it’s off we go to The Missing Zither and we’ll meet that special guest star momentarily!

Bar Number 137: The Missing Zither, Wednesday, June 3, 2026
Here we are at The Missing Zither located in Keller Station.
They have a nice patio area out here, but we’re going inside and leading the way is our special guest star, Matt!
Matt suggested this place and he last appeared on the blog in December of 2025 when we had lunch at Kenny’s Westside Pub with his dad, Brian.
They have a nice, cozy bar in here and an elegant menu featuring a wide array of cocktails!
Tito was the friendly bartender/mixologist of the evening and here he is serving us up our first cocktail.
This cocktail is called, Stormy Night and it’s a gin based cocktail with many other ingredients. It was a delicious drink!

There’s tables and several comfortable lounge areas in here to relax and enjoy one of their specialty cocktails at.
Meanwhile, back at the bar, we enjoyed a second cocktail called, Beso, which is a cocktail created by Tito.
Sadly, I forgot to take a photo of it. Cue the sad trombone sound here!
They have a nice wall of booze in here and there’s the missing zither that the cocktail lounge is named after!

The Paper Plane.
This is a bourbon based drink, but it doesn’t have a distinct bourbon flavor to it. It was very flavorful and delicious!
