A couple of weeks ago I saw this post on Olio & Vino’s fb page…
So of course I asked if there was a bar.
This is tonight’s destination, so I guess you can figure out what the answer was!

Bar Number 148: Olio & Vino, Thursday, June 25, 2026
Here we are at Olio & Vino in Peoria Heights. What a nice looking storefront and I love their logo!
They have outside tables overlooking Prospect Road, but tonight, it looks like all the action will be in the back, on the patio.
The Patio is where people “talk, sip and wine about it!” Ha ha ha! Let’s go in and see what’s happening in there.
It’s very nice in here and it’s got a warm and welcoming feel to it inside of the shop.
Ayusha was in the back of the store and she said to feel free to take photos in here, so I started with one of her flashing a cute smile!
They have a large selection of olive oil, wine and gourmet foods in here. We visited here back in 2021 and it’s just as nice and unique in here as I remembered from that visit.
They have an inventory of items not found in any other store in Peoria. Here’s a shot from the back of the shop and hey, what’s that over to the right…
It’s the bar in here, that I originally asked about in the fb post!
It’s very impressive and I love the two chandeliers hanging overhead. Very sparkly and fancy!
In addition to wine, they also have a nice selection of beer in here, but we’ve never had wine on this tour yet, so I think we’ll try a glass or two tonight!
And just like magic, Sallie appears behind the bar looking very pretty with a glass of freshly poured white wine! Cheers!
The bar is very nice in here, but as I mentioned in the beginning of this post, the action is out on the patio, so let’s head out there and see what’s happening.
They also feature freshly baked food in here featuring flatbreads and assorted gourmet snack trays and here’s the beautiful owner of Olio & Vino, Stephanie displaying a flatbread and it looks absolutely delicious!
Stephanie also owns Segreto di Stefania, which was the 103rd stop on this tour. And in addition, she also owns Bernardi’s in Washington which we need to stop at soon. Wonderful to see her tonight!
The patio is behind this door and it’s a glorious and beautiful spot. I’ve never been back here when it’s been in operation and this is like a little chunk of paradise back here!
This is a wonderful spot to hang out at and just relax and soak in the beauty of the trees, flowers and nature on display!
They have live music on featured nights back here and tonight, Mark and Clyde from Cousin Eddie are performing an acoustic set of tunes.
They sounded wonderful and played a very entertaining set of music.
Check out Cousin Eddie’s upcoming shows here and you can see the schedule for more live entertainment out on the Olio & Vino patio by clicking here.
Thanks to everyone at Olio & Vino for a fabulous and fun evening in the shop, bar and patio!
