Tina’s Coach Stop is said to be Peoria’s oldest bar. There’s no actual proof of this, but it’s something I’ve heard many times in my travels. It’s also rumored that Abraham Lincoln had a drink in here, but there’s no actual proof of that either.

So while there’s no proof that Tina’s Coach Stop is the oldest bar in Peoria, soon it will be an actual fact that Tina’s Coach Stop is the 112th stop of our 365 bar tour. We just have to get over there to make this happen, so let’s get over there already! Sheesh!

Bar Number 112: Tina’s Coach Stop, Tuesday, May 5, 2026

Here we are at Tina’s Coach Stop bar, I love the art on the outside wall! It gives it a real throwback look!

Let’s go in and start our 112th night out and about!

There’s the rectangular bar and as you can see, there’s a nice crowd in here. I spot one empty seat, so let’s go grab it and get settled in here for the evening!

Theresa was the pretty and friendly bartender on duty and here she is serving me up an ice-cold bottle of Budweiser. We’re off to a perfect start tonight!

There’s the back of the bar and it’s very well stocked for all of your drinking needs!

Boo Boo came over and said hi and posed for a photo while flashing a beautiful smile! She told me she’s the unpaid manager in here and she also works the breakfast shift at Hammer’s bar in Bartonville, which was our 89th stop on the tour.

I love the wagon wheel chandelier hanging under the classic tin ceiling in here.

There’s the spot where the beers on tap would be, but right now there doesn’t appear to be any taps happening in here. Oh well, what are you going to do?

They had a Cinco de Mayo party going on in here with a free taco bar! ¡Muy bien!

In honor of Cinco de Mayo they had two sombreros on the bar and here’s Robin and Boo Boo looking fantastic while modeling them!

Robin saw the post on The Getaway and called Trish who was the bartender there the evening we visited and Trish donated five dollars to the blog! That was so nice, thanks Trish and thanks to Robin for making that happen!
