Here we are at Jan’s Tap, there’s no sign outside except for the Busch and Bud Light signs…if you know, you know!

Let’s go inside and see what’s going on in there.

There it is, in all its glory: Jan’s Tap!

I snagged a seat at the end of the bar and bartender Debbie promptly served me up a can of Budweiser! This night is off to a beautiful start!

Jacob was seated next to me at the bar and we first met in here close to a decade ago! Jacob’s a regular in here and it’s great to see him, as always!

Elvis is everywhere in Jan’s Tap, he’s on the walls and on the ceiling too!

Here’s a shot of the bar from the back and there’s the trio of beers on tap behind the bar.

I had this sign made back in 2018 for the 30th anniversary celebration of Jan’s Tap. You can read the whole post by clicking here. Very cool that it’s still hanging up in the middle of the bar!

There’s dining tables opposite the bar, all decorated up for this Memorial Day weekend festivities.

They have Karaoke here every Friday and Saturday from 9pm to 1am and it gets pretty lively in here!

The back wall is lined with gaming machines for all of you gamblers out there.

There’s a pool table in this back room with a nice Cubs light hanging overhead.

This is a Cubs bar, in case you haven’t noticed already!

Meanwhile, back at the bar, I met Ron and Jim.

Ron worked at Fleming Potter when I did and we shared some F&P work stories from back in the day. Jim is bartender Debbie’s brother, yes, it’s a real family affair in here!

There’s Tyler at the bar sporting a Jan’s Tap, 37th anniversary t-shirt. Two years from this August will be the 40th anniversary of Jan’s Tap, I can’t wait for that celebration to happen!

Owner Jan had the night off and I missed seeing her, but here’s her photo in the PJ Star encased on the bar!
