Tonight we’re sticking pretty close to home and going to MD’s Sports Bar & Grill which is just about a four minute trip from the MBIP World Headquarters.
Set your clocks and it’s off we go on tonight’s 122nd journey to yet another bar!

Bar Number 122: MD’s Sports Bar & Grill
Four minutes later and here we are, as promised, at MD’s Sports Bar & Grill.
Check out the sign, I don’t know how these places know that I’m coming! I’m wondering if the MBIP World Headquarters is bugged! I’ll have to call an exterminator if this keeps happening!
Let’s go inside and see what’s going on in there on this Sunday evening.
There’s the bar in here and I think I see a familiar face seated there…
It’s my friend and special guest star for the evening, Nancy, who we last saw about 100 bars ago when we went to Khaki Jack’s in February. Great to have her along again and she’s looking fabulous tonight!
Alicia was the pretty bartender on duty and here she is serving me up a can of Busch Light.
They have an extensive food menu in here and Nancy and I ordered our Sunday dinners.
Lynne and Jaymie came in and sat at the bar and it turns out that Jaymie worked with my brother, Tom at Lexus of Peoria and they’re also the parents of Ryan Cullen who was featured on the blog back in 2018!
Great to meet them and time to cue up this song!
Here’s a shot of the bar from the other side. I feel a little like Joni now that I’ve looked at this bar from both sides now.
Here’s the half a dozen beers on tap behind the bar. I like the Deadhead on the end! I hope someone told him that Summer Camp got canceled!
There’s a row of gaming machines opposte the bar and here’s the daily specials that happen in here.
A wooden island stands opposite the bar and a dining area behind that.
There’s a pool table, dart boards and a golf game in this side room, opposite the bar.
There’s an outside bar and a large beer patio outside, perfect for the upcoming summer weather!
Meanwhile, back at the bar…
Our Sunday dinners have started arriving!
We started off with an order of chicken wings with a spicy Asian sauce on the side. They were plump, juicy and delicious!
Here’s the main courses: Nancy got a BLT sandwich and I got the Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad.
Everything looks absolutely delicious, let’s dig in to our Sunday night dinner’s at MD’s!
Nancy said her sandwich was a tasty treat! The Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad was delicious too.
It had large chunks of tasty grilled chicken, crispy croutons and topped off with shaved parmesan cheese and Caesar salad dressing.
The food here is fabulous and if you’ve never tried it, you should definitely stop by!
