Okay, my friend Jim/Vern Damico is making his weekly guest star appearance which means he’ll be driving us to a destination outside of Peoria. How do I know this, I know this because this is what he does. Here, I’ll show you…

See, there he is driving us to the 82nd bar of this tour and that bar is Haynes’ On Main in Mackinaw, Illinois. We’ll be there shortly, so just keep on scrolling!

Bar Number 82: Haynes’ On Main, Wednesday, April 1, 2026

And through the miracle of these here interwebs, whoomp, here we are at Haynes’ On Main in Mackinaw, Illinois!

Jim’s leading the way in and got a spot at the nice bar in here!

Sydney was our friendly and pretty bartender and here she is serving me up an ice-cold can of Budweiser.

Haynes’ On Main does have the coldest beer in town…just ask them!

There’s Jim/Vern settled in at the bar with his drink, always great to have him along!

We ordered our dinner and now it’s time for me to take a few photos in here. Hey, it’s what I do!

There’s the bar and the cooler behind it stocked with lots of tasty and refreshing drinks.

As you can see, they have an impressive amount of beers on tap!

Wooden dining tables line the wall opposite the bar and here’s a shot from the back of the room.

There a nice enclosed beer patio outside over here. They have live music occasionally back here.

Over here in this back room are gaming machines and a pair of dart boards for your gaming amusement.

Meanwhile, back at the bar…

Our dinner is arriving!

We started off with an appetizer of the Pork Belly Skewers. These are so tasty and delicious.

I ate mine right off of the skewer like most men would do, but Jim chose to eat his with his knife and fork and cut them into itty-bitty little pieces and ate them like an elderly woman would. And that’s fine! To each their own!

For our main course we split one of their homemade pizza pies and it looks absolutely fabulous!

This is the Hot Honey Pepperoni pizza and it was so delicious. The crispy crust was paper thin, just the way I like it! This was a fantastic and tasty pizza pie!

After dinner, Kenzie came down and said hi to us and then posed for a picture with Sydney. A beautiful way to end the evening!

Haynes’ On Main is just about a half an hour trip from Peoria, if you’ve never experienced it, you should definitely take the short drive and check it out.
