I was scrolling around on the internet Sunday afternoon trying to figure out where to go for a Sunday night dinner and I happened to see a listing for Blue Margaritas off of Allen Road.

I took that as a sign and so now we’re off to Blue Margaritas Mexican Bar & Grill which is now our 58th destination on this 365 tour! See how easy this is?

Bar Number 58: Blue Margaritas, Sunday, March 8, 2026

Here we are at Blue Margaritas Bar & Grill on a lovely Sunday evening. Let’s go inside and check it out.

There’s the door that lead to two different dining areas in here.

Here’s the dining room to the right as you walk in and there’s tables and booths in here, but they don’t appear to be seating people in here tonight.

People are seated in the other dining area located to the left as you walk in, but I see something more important than the dining room in here…I see…

The bar!

And there’s plenty of seats! (This next line is said in Macauley Culkin Home Alone tones.) A lovely Mexican bar…just for me!

As soon as I sat down, Jaime delivered me a giant margarita! We’re off to a wonderful start on this Sunday evening.

Jaime also took my dinner order and while that’s being prepared, I’ll take a few photos of the bar in here.

There’s the beers on tap and there’s frozen margarita machines at the end of the bar.

Comfortable wooden booths line the wall behind the bar and there’s a large communal table directly at the end of the bar. There’s a sign in the back declaring this the Tios Bar.

They have daily food and drink specials in here. Areeba!

Meanwhile, back at the bar, it looks like it’s Sunday dinner time!

We’re starting off with some complimentary chips and salsa. The chips were warm and the salsa was tasty and had a nice zing to it.

Here’s our main course, Tacos Al Carbon.

These are three steak tacos topped with pickled red onion, tomatoes and onion andf they are served with a side of French Fries.

The fries were crispy and seasoned nicely and the Chipotle dipping sauce that came with the meal complimented them perfectly! We’re off to a tasty start!
