Getting a beer from these fine people working the outside beer tent.
There’s the owner of the 33 Room, Dustin, in the middle of these fantastic people holding an ice cold, 16 ounce can of PBR for me! Cheers, everyone!
As you can see, there’s multiple food trucks on hand to choose from for our Saturday night dinner, but before we do that…
Let’s wander around and meet some of the local authors selling and displaying their books for sale tonight.

Meet The Local Authors!
Here’s Endria Nuaros with two of her books and sadly I cut one off in this photo. Hey, I was wearing sunglasses and it’s about a thousand degrees out here, give me a break over here!

Those of you who read MBIP daily will be familiar with this author, my friend Tricia, who writes under her pen name of P.A. Nimmo.
She was selling her three books, Running Blind In Traffic, Diary of a Mad White Woman and her latest fiction novel, Tails of the Cat and the Bookstore.
Great to see Tricia and she said she sold lots of copies of books already. Hooray!
Karli Johnson is a local Peoria author and public speaker who has gotten national publicity with her books and her talks.

Okay, it was wonderful to meet all of those local authors, but now it’s time for our Saturday night dinner!
I decided to order something from the Moore Skillz Kitchen food wagon over here and there’s the beautiful folks who are working and cooking up tonight’s dinner!
I got the Bacon Jam Polish Sausage and it was such a tasty treat on this Saturday evening at the Adult Book Fair!
It was a tasty Polish sausage covered in a bacon jam with onion and homemade BBQ sauce! The bun was bakery fresh and this was suck a delicious and tasty treat on this warm and toasty evening.
I decided to beat the heat for a while in the comfortable air-conditioned 33 Room.
Luckily there was a seat at the bar and there’s Nick, Liam and Breanne who were busy, but took the time to pose for the MBIP Camera before serving me up a tall cool can of PBR!
I love all the Pabst memorabilia in here and it’s such a comfortable and fun room! And it’s air-conditioned!
As I was heading out, I ran into the owner of Peoria Book Rack, Stacy Hardin, flanked by Noah on the left and Bub on the right.
