Whitey’s Tip Top Inn is a legendary Peoria bar. It was also the spot where I went for my 42nd pizza in my year-long pizza journey.
Oh Sherman, I think you know what to do here…
Please set the Wayback Machine to November 18, 2014 and…
Here we are at Whitey’s Tip Top Inn on Sheridan Road.
There’s a nice crowd in here tonight.
Nicole was the bartender on duty and I love her smile and she is definitely one of the prettiest bartenders ever to work at the Tip Top and any other Peoria bar!
Here’s the owner of Whitey’s, Whitey himself and below, here he’s pictured with his daughter and son-in-law.
Here’s Whitey making our homemade pizza pie and then putting it into the oven. There’s lots of cheese on it and it looks delicious!
Here it is all cooked up and out of the oven. Whitey is slicing it up, it’s just about pizza time!
Meanwhile, back at the bar, the hot sauces are lined up and it’s time to present this week’s Pizza of Peoria!
This was such a tasty pizza pie, handmade by Whitey himself!
Delicious pizza pie at a legendary Peoria tavern!
And the lovely Nicole serves up another bottle of Budweiser for dessert! What a happy ending!
