One of the things that’s been so cool about doing this blog is meeting other fun and like-minded people in different places all over the city. Who’d have ever thought that you could find a Dentist’s office that you actually look forward to going to? Well, Peoria probably has the only fun dental care facility that is a blast, thanks to the singing dentist, Dr. Nguyen and her fun and lively crew that work there alongside of her at All Smiles Dental Care. They truly live up to their name!
We first met them when I had some cool customized novelty teeth made there for Halloween, you can check that post out here. I’ve been looking for a dentist to get a check-up here in Peoria and after that experience I booked an appointment. Nobody likes going to the dentist, so I asked if we could have a little pizza party before and they said the words I love to hear: “Why not?”
So, here we go, on what I think has to be the world’s first pizza party and dental check up at All Smiles Dental Care. Let’s begin this toothy journey!
And the journey begins right here at Fedora's, where I got a pizza back in September.
Well, this fellow was sure happy to pose for the MBIP camera!
This fellow...well, not quite so happy. I think he needs to eat more gyros.
Now we're talking, here's Fedora's owner Nabil with the pizza's for this dental party adventure. They look great! Wonderful work, Nabil!
And handily enough, All Smiles Dental Care is just a few blocks up the road from Fedora's, there it is up ahead.

Let's go in and see what's happening inside.
Well, that's a festive little greeting!
Okay, I've entered the office and put the pizzas down on the reception desk, but no one's here. I'm waiting for a sign to start this pizza party...
And here it is...
And so the party begins! There's Dr. Nguyen to the left, Peggy to the right and in the middle is Danielle who told me they like their pizza with extra cheese so I told Nabil to make the cheesiest pizza in the world.
Cheese-O-Rama-Lama-Ding-Dong!
Cheesy-Wheezy-Homer-Sneezy! I'm trying to convey the fact that this is the cheesiest pizza in the history of man and womankind!
Shaun appears on the scene and gasps at the cheesiness of it all.
And then he promptly digs in.
The slices were so filling, this is about all we could tackle. Looks like there's leftovers for everyone!
And now the toothsome journey begins to my first dental checkup in Peoria in over 20 years.
I'm a little nervous!
Peggy puts a bib on me...shouldn't we have done this before we started eating the pizza?

And here they are, wow, it's kind of crowded inside of my mouth!
Okay, time to sit in the official chair and let the checkup begin.

As Dr. Nguyen performs her magic, Peggy offers up a prayer to the Hindu Love Gods. For the love of Sweet Pete, somebody break out a Raspberry Beret already!
And here's the good doctor with my report. I have two small cavities and I'll be back in about a month to let this healing process begin. Stay tuned!
