I’ve gotten kind of backed up, so I’m taking a day off from the blog today. However I did want to mention something about someone who was a part of this blog, but sadly I never got to meet him.

Tom Cain Memorial
The MBIP blog post that has gotten the most views and continues to get views is the oral history of the legendary local band, The Coachmen. You can see this post by clicking here: From A Basement To A Stage: The Oral History of the Coachmen.
Sadly, on June 24, 2021, Tom Cain, a founding member of that band passed away.
I never got to meet Tom in person, but he was a big help with that post and he sent me most of the photos for it.
I send my condolences to his family and friends and there’s a wonderful tribute to him at Jon Asher’s blog, who was his friend and bandmate, here a link to that: Tom Cain.
