Now please welcome this week’s host, Olympia Sports Bar + Grill!
Here we are at Olympia Sports Bar + Grill.
They have a nice area for outside seating, but we’re going to eat in, so let’s go in and see what’s happening inside.
There’s plenty of seats at their large bar, but we’ll get a table because we’re having dinner with three special guest stars tonight.
And here’s two of the three special guest stars…
My friends, Amber and Joe!
Always great to have them along for a Saturday night out on the town dinner!
Lucy was just finishing her shift and she stopped by our table and posed for a picture with Amber.
I love the chalk art in here and it’s all done by local artist Devon McGlone.
The last sign is about the video gaming here at Olympia…
And here’s the discreet corner with the five gaming machines to play at.
This is our pretty and friendly waitress Caroline with our drinks for the evening.

Here’s a shot from the back of the dining room and there’s tables lining the walls up front at the windows in the front of the bar.
Cliff came over to me and said he sees me on Good Day Central Illinois and that was nice to hear and it was great to meet him!
There’s another full dining area in the back of the room.
Overhead there’s a Greek and an American flag flying in the rafters along with three different styles of Olympia t-shirts on sale.
Meanwhile back at our table, Caroline is lighting up our cheese appetizer!
Amber suggested that we order the Saganaki Cheese Appetizer, not only because it sounds delicious, but because it’s a great photo opportunity!
She was right and here’s Caroline pouring brandy on the cheese, lighting it up and then squeezing lemon juice to dissolve the flames.
This was an exciting and fun presentation!
Here it is after the flames have melted it.
Caroline served it up with a tray of pita bread slices and we also got an order of the Fried Calamari.
They were both savory and tasty treats.
Just as the appetizers were served up, our third guest star for the evening arrived.
Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Adam Curry to this week’s Saturday night post!
It was great to see Adam again, he moved to Phoenix, Arizona a few years ago and I haven’t seen him in over two years!

Amber, Joe and Adam were content to sample the appetizers, but I also got a dinner entree of the Grilled Shrimp Kabobs.
These are seasoned, plump shrimp grilled and put on a skewer and they are absolutely delicious!
This was a fun night out on the town and I thank Amber, Joe and Adam for joining me and being part of this tasty and enjoyable Saturday night at Olympia Sports Bar + Grill!
