Usually I avoid chain stores and restaurants, but since this series is about eating all the pizza in Peoria, I’m going to have to be stopping at some of the chain gang pizza places.
The first stop of the chain pizza joints is going to be at Pizza Hut on Sterling, so let’s head on over there.
Here we are at the Pizza Hut on Sterling Avenue.
This place is take-out only and I placed my order online, so let’s go up to the counter and get this week’s Peoria pizza pie!
And through the miracles of these here interwebs, here we are back at the MBIP World Headquarters dining area.
We’ll start this pizza pie dinner with a Bud Light tall boy. Cheers!
I got an order of chicken wings to start the meal off.
These were dry-rubbed Cajun style and they were juicy, spicy and delicious. I usually don’t get dry-rubbed wings, but these were very tasty!
Now on to the main course, this week’s pizza pie!
I got the stuffed crust pizza with parmesan crust. Let’s try a slice!
The crust isn’t crispy at all and while there’s a lot of cheese on the slice, there’s no sauce at all. Plus it’s got an overall bland taste to it.
The bottom photo shows the cheese stuffed crust and while it wasn’t horrible, it just didn’t have much taste to it. And there’s no sauce on it!
I got the Cinnamon Sticks for dessert and they look fantastic!
They come with icing and these were a sweet treat!
Sadly, the wings and these Cinnamon Sticks outshone the pizza! That’s not a good thing when Pizza is part of the title of your restaurant!

The Rating System
Any rating from 0 to 5.9 is a substandard pizza that you should definitely avoid.
A rating from 6 to 8.5 is a good pizza and gets the MBIP pizza pie recommendation.
A rating from 8.6 to 9.4 means the pizza is very high quality and you need to try it out as soon as you can.
Ratings from 9.5 to 10 represent the best pizzas in Peoria (in my opinion).

This pizza wasn’t horrible but it was pretty bland and tasteless, plus there was no sauce on it! I’m giving it a 5.8, if you have to go to Pizza Hut, I recommend the chicken wings and cinnamon sticks, but the pizza is pretty tasteless and bland.
